Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia
I was married for 26 years. I left my husband because he was alcoholic & abusive. we never divorced. he recently passed a few months ago, his sister conned him in to doing a will, at the end & he was very sick (from drinking) & leave her everything. do I have any legal rights, grounds to contest? He lived/we married in Florida, I live in Virginia.

You may have an elective right to claim a percentage
of your deceased husband's estate assets.
However, you should consult with a Florida attorney who
handles probate matters in that state for further advice on this issue.
