Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

I have a mother who is in failing health and may need to go into a nursin home. The house that we have lived in has been directed to be mine in her will ,but are in fear of losing it if she goes in a nursing home. What are our options please.

You might wish to consult with an attorney who handles so-called eldercare law issues regarding your mother's situation but the house could (in my opinion) be subject to a claim by your state agency which administers Medicaid if your mother were now to have to enter a nursing home facility under the circumstances described.
