Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

My mother passed away in November and I want to return some of the jewelry and misc. things that were give to her back to my siblings. What type of form should I use for documentation?

Do I need to give each of my siblings a copy of the will or can they can look at the will and sign a form saying that they have seen the will. I lived in Alexandria, Virginia.

Any form simply documenting the named beneficiary's receipt of these

items (specifically what was received and the date) should be sufficient.

The latter approach should suffice (sign that they've seen the will).

There should be no need to have separate forms; all of the

above could be handled by one form (in my opinion).

I'm not sure what you're asking.

If the will designates such things go to certain specific people, that's what has to happen unless the designated persons forego their interest in the items. If the will names you and your siblings as beneficiaries and you don't feel it is worth it to probate the will, you should get the written OK of all of the beneficiaries of the will and your siblings.
