Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

NY Will - Moved to Another State VA

My Mother has will drawn up in New York after my father passed on. She has since moved from New York and now resides in Virginia. Is my mother's will valid and will it be honored in VA, even though it was written in New York? My Mother is 79 years old.

Yes, it will be recognized in Virginia as valid, as long as your mother's will was executed in accordance with the laws governing such matters in the state of New York.
