Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia
If a person has "lifetime rights", has been given a home "for their life" and then the home reverts back to the children of the deceased, what happens if the person with the lifetime rights moves out and into assisted living? Does the property then pass to the children of the deceased?

The instrument dispensing these "lifetime rights" (assuming a will)) should
specify the conditions under which such rights are terminated and/or considered
abandoned other than from the decease of this person who was given the life estate.
