Probate and Estate Executer
What information is an Executer of an
Estate (also the attorney) required to
provide while the estate is in Probate? I
want to know the status of the Probate
and the whereabouts of a certain piece
of property (rocking chair)

There is no requirement of which I am aware that obligates the duly appointed executor of an estate to provide any information to anyone other than the probate court and the commissioner of accounts.
However, since at some point in the probate process, the executor must file an inventory of estate assets with the probate court which then becomes part of the public record of the case, you could go to the court and ask to inspect the court case file and see whether the property which you're interested in is listed as part of the inventory. (The foregoing assumes that you've already attempted to secure the information directly from the executor who has declined to provide it for whatever reason.)
