Probating a Will

If someone makes a will to someone who passes away before them, how can their daughter inherit anthing?

The will can be worded with legal terminology which would permit the offspring of a named beneficiary who predeceases the testator to inherit what her prematurely deceased parent would have otherwise received under the will had the parent not died before the testator of the will.

However, if the will lacks the necessary language to support such a bequest, in all likelihood the daughter under this circumstance would likely take nothing.
