Re: Reading of a will
The son will need to be patient and monitor the situation carefully to determine whether his mother's will is being properly probated and her estate properly administered by her widower spouse who is presumably the executor. At some point, the will should be filed with the local probate court along with an inventory of estate assets where these items will be of public record which anyone can read, including the deceased mother's son who believes himself to be a named beneficiary in her will.
