Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

I received an inheritance of 1/4 of my grandfathers estate with my mom and siblings receiving the other 3/4's. can i deny my inheritance and have my siblings and mother split my share ? if so how can i go about doing that? I have not signed any papers stating ive taken possession of my share nor has any other family members.

You may disclaim your inheritance if you wish, and your share would go to the other beneficiaries. You may not disclaim if you have received your share or made any assignment of it. You should contact the executor about your interest in disclaiming your share.
