Can Siblings Sell W/O Me

I recently received a letter from an attorney that my parents have both passed. My mother died in Sept of 2005. she was the last to pass. I made a stupid mistake (B&E) 24 yrs ago and left home and have never been back how will this affect me receiving my share. My bother is in the house. My sister and I want to sell.

I don't know what VA Probate Law says about your parent's estate. Generally speaking, if they left the house to your brother, it can be his if complies with VA probate procedures. If there is no will by either parent, VA intestate law applies and you should consult a VA attorney to determine the extent of your share and what you can do with it.
