Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

Validity of Personal Will

My husband and I both have legal wills that we had completed when we lived in Pennsylvania. We now live in Virginia. Are our personal wills still valid in Virginia?

Our main concern is for our minor son. Thank you.

Re: Validity of Personal Will

Yes, your wills are still valid as long as they were executed in conformance with the laws of Pennsylvania governing such matters. However, if

in the interim there's been a material change in any of the situations or issues which the wills

are designed to address, it may be time to have them reevaluated and possibly revised or amended.
