Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

I was appointed executor for my aunt's estate. She did not have a large estate but I would say there was around $9000 in cash after liquidation. I have failed to file the proper paperwork to settle the estate. Additionally, due to financial setbacks, the money was used for personal purposes. How can I resolve this situation?

I would suggest that you arrange for a consultation with as local attorney in your area who handles probate as well as criminal law matters and who should be able to advise you, accordingly.
