Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

Will

My aunt passed away on April 3, 2008 and she left her daughter-in-law excutor of the will. I've been living with her off and for more than 20 years. I was wondering does she have the power to evicted me from the house if she isn't listed as the owner of the house and she also has taken things from the property and the car. Sh,e won't even let me see the will and I've asked a dozen times. Sometimes she says you aren't in the will and other times I have to sort it out. What should I do

Re: Will

The executor of a will has the power to sell estate property, including a home that is part of an estate and to require that the occupants vacate the premises.

And, if the will at issue in your particular siuation has been filed with the local probate court, you can go there to inspect it since once it's been filed it becomes a public document.
