Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia
Will change
Will was originally drawn with atty in NC in 1991. We have since moved to VA. Need to update will but immediate problem: Getting ready to travel outside US and want to change names of our kids' guardians. How to do this to make it valid?

Re: Will change
A new will should be executed under VA law in order to change the guardian designation. An experienced estate planning attorney should be able to handle this under VA law. Please note that my legal services are available only with a signed engagement agreement in accordance with the Code of Professional Ethics applicable to attorneys licensed in the state of VA. If I can be of any help to you or people you know, give me a call as I would be pleased to provide legal support.
