Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

My dad has 6 children. One brother of mine is homeless and his wife is just out to get the $ left to him. My dad wants my brother to have his share, but not my brothers' wife, who is bad news. I will be the trustee, and would have power of dispersal to my brother. Would a trust keep her getting my brothers money?

Not necessarily, but if it's (the trust) properly structured, it could certainly delay it.
