can a power of attorney and same person a excutor use money from the estate reguardless what the will says?

An executor of an estate has a fiduciary duty to faithfully execute the directives of a will in carrying out the intentions of the testator(maker of the will). A power of attorney ceases to have any legal effect once the person who gave the power has become deceased.
