Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

Wills & Estates

City: Fort Fairfield

State: Maine

Question: ''What is the legal metrology within the State of Maine to serve a ''Summons and Complaint'', not by a lawyer, but by a ''Power of Attorney (not a lawyer) that originated in another state (Georgia) then delivered to another state (Virginia) by a private carrier (Federal Express and/or USPS) to be answered in the Court in the state of Maine?''

Please provide me your opinion and what is the Maine law regarding to this type of court serving?

Thank you

Re: Wills & Estates

"Legal metrology"? Perhaps, you mean legal terminology, but, in any case, a lawyer should likely review the various documents connected with this matter in order to be in a position to provide an answer to your question(s) which might have more than a mere modicum of reliability.
