Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

claim

I tore my rotator cuff and did some nerve damage in dec of 2006.How long do i have to wait for my claim to pay off. I just recieved a letter from worker'comp on april the 23

Dear Sir:

This depends. Was your claim accepted as compensable? Have any awards been entered by the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission? What was your rate of pay at the time of the accident? Has the rotator cuff been repaired? If so, do you have any work restrictions? Have you been compensated in the past for your lost time due to this injury? Are you back doing the same job as you did at the time of the accident? If not are you out of work or doing Light Duty Work? Has your arm reached maximum medical improvement? If do, has the doctor given you a rating?

These are all questions that need to be answered before an attorney can answer your question.
