In Virginia there is a maximum number of weeks of compensation payable for "marked disfigurement." How much your scarring is worth is judged by a Deputy Commissioner of the Workers' Compensation Commission. If you already have a permanent impairment to your foot or leg from this accident, you cannot collect for both the burns and the impairment to the leg or foot.
