Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

Federal Worker's Comp.

I was employed by the US Army at the time of my disabling problem.

I have been covered by WC for quite some time.

I was removed from the employment rolls at the base I was assigned to, because of the disability lasting more than 1 year.

Question: Am I still an employee of the US Army?

The DOL is drawing my pay out of it's budget.

Re: Federal Worker's Comp.

You're clearly on the compensation rolls of the U.S. Government. However, whether that means you're still in the official employ of the U.S. Army is a different question and if you haven't been notified otherwise, chances are that you still are.

Nevertheless, why not end the suspense and ask them (the Army) or the DOL?
