Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

injury

I injured myself two months ago at

work. But I didn't file for worker's comp.

Would I still be able to file for that?

Re: injury

You may file a claim within 2 years, but you may get a fight on failing to report it promptly. Good luck.

Re: injury

Yes, but if you did not report it immediately to your place of work and did not immediately seek medical attention, your employer and the insurance company will deny your claim and your claim will be difficult. Seek medical care immediately and give the doctor a clear history of your injury. You can then file a claim with the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission. have the doctor fill out the Virgina WC Attending Physician Report and file this with the Commission.
