Millage:
While on WC in the state of Virginia, can the millage back and forth to the doctors appointments be reimbursed?

Dear Sir:
Mileage to and from a doctor if you are on a workers comp award is reimbursed in Virginia at the rate of 50.5 cents per mile. Check with the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission to make sure you have an award for your injury. If the insurance company won't pay you mileage, file a claim for the mileage with the Commission.
