Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

Pay

I was told that in Va. you do not get paid for worker comp the first seven days. They said you lose that seven day pay or maybe I could get it from sick leave. Is this true?

Dear Sir:

In Virginia, you do not get paid for the first 7 days for an on the job injury; however, if you are out more than 21 days, you are then paid for the first 7 days.
