Reinstated

how long will it take to recieve benefits after the hearing is over and the commissioner states that my benefits be reinstated

From the date the decision is "received" both sides have 20 days to appeal. After the appeal time expires, then the payment has to be made within 14 days to avoid a penalty. Thus, the time period is 34 days but most insurance companies issue checks voluntarily right away unless they appeal. If they appeal, then no checks will be issued until the appeal is resolved which can take 6-8 months on average.
