Re: Worker's comp

Dear Sir:

Did you have an accident?

Was it due to a fall at work, a lifting incident at work, or some similar event?

Was it during work hours?

Was your injury due to that accident?

Did you promptly report the accident?

Was an accident report filled out?

There was no safety violation at the time of the accident was there?

Did your doctor write a report saying your injury was due to that accident?

Did your doctor agree that any disability was due to that accident?

If you can answer "yes" to MOST OF THESE QUESTIONS THEN YOU WOULD HAVE A GOOD CLAIM AND SHOULD FILE IT WITH THE VIRGINIA WORKERS COMPENSATION COMMISSION ALONG WITH THE DOCTORS NOTES TAKING YOU OUT OF WORK.
