When you have an injury on the job, you are supposed to notify your supervisor of the injury within 30 days. The supervisor in turn files an accident report with the insurance company. After the insurance company obtains the accident report it will obtain information from the doctor. It then may accept the claim. It may decide to take a recorded statement from the claimant.
