Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

workman's comp appeal hearing coming soon

I received a judgement again workman's comp and before the 10 days was up they appeal, which i have to go to courat tomorrow for another court day. tell me what is up. it's about a 900.00 mri that they gave permission for me to take and then denied it. i have this in writting from them saying they will pay. in the meantime i had to pay the hospital 900.00 to stop legal actions against me

could you tell me what grounds they will have to appeal?

thank you very much

i have no attorney for it would cost me more than 900.00 to go to court so im doing this myself

Without knowing more of the facts concerning your claim and the procedural road that your case has followed thus far, there's no possible way to assess the insurance carrier's basis for their appeal.

Bring your papers to court and be prepared to

explain the situation from your perspective---

and hope for the best.(Give particular emphasis to the fact that the insurance carrier first agreed to pay for your MRI, and then did an about face and reneged on their promise, which has caused you a great deal of difficulty. Sounds like bad faith dealing to me, something that insurance companies never want to be found liable for by a court.)
