Can you select more than one person as your power of attorney

Can you prepare a Power of Attorney which would give more than one person the authorization to act as your agent.

Not recommended, not usually done - too many conflicts can arise. If you do, use 3 people to break a tie. You should name one then use alternates if that person can't or doesn't want to do it.

Yes. Typically when one names more than one attorney-in-fact they name them "jointly" and then decide whether it is jointly or the survivor or jointly and if one is unable to do it that person is replaced. You should have a tie-breaker AIF if the two cannot agree.
