I have worked as a jeweler from a small jewelry company and would like to start my own jewelry business, will I be sued by or involved with any legal issues from my previous employer for starting the same kind of business by any chance?

No, unless you had a non-compete agreement as part of your prior employment. If the jeweler had proprietary designs, then you'll want to avoid designing jewelry that is the same or similar.
