Power of Attorney
If someone wants to give POA to his daughter for the purpose of conducting real estate transactions which state does the POA need to be drafted? The man lives in Virginia, his daughter lives in Washington and the property will be purchased in Washington.

Whenever real estate is involved, the laws of the state where the real estate is located will nearly always control. So you want to have a POA that is valid in the state where the real estate is located, because the daughter will have to sign contracts in Washington State.
