Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Washington

''Wills and Executorship''.

Mother passed away 02/02/05, youngest of 4 sisters had power of attorney. There is a will made in 1995, revised in 2004. There was only one present at reading of will, she was the youngest.We 3 remaining sisters have question of validity of her actions and her mental stability to perform her designated responsibilities. Mother left estate to youngest daughter, we have no problem with this, however she is taking household items left to 3 remaining sisters,putting them in her home and in the shop. there were also 3 trust funds do not know where they are, don't even know who new lawyer is, she fired the original 2 wks after moms' death. Is there a way all action can stop temporarily? Until we can find out where we stand? we need to find the paperwork from court house, try to find the new lawyer, youngest sister took all paperwork and shredded. We need a legal way to delay. please help, she even took items from mothers home to the shop that my husband and I purchased for her. The shop is a pottery and bead shop owned by my mother and father for 25 yrs. Left to youngest sister, with inventory. Thus the concern of her putting objects from home into shop, my husband and I hold that reciept, not the shop, not the youngest sister any help

You can apply to have youngest sister removed as executor if you do not feel she is capable of the task. Of course the challenge of the revised will is another option. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.

You posted your question in the wrong category, since it has nothing to do with appeals or writs. But since an attorney has already posted an answer, it can't be removed.
