Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Washington
Keeping my assests
If I file bankruptcy, the one where you still pay on your debts but at a court appointed amount, will I still be able to keep my home and car? Those are the only two major debts that I have. But the house has a second on it. I have tried working with the loan companys on my own and they are not willing to work with me. I do not want to lose my home. What are my alternatives? Please help, I have no where else to turn!

You have options so talk to someone
You can keep your home depending upon how much equity you have in it. You need to meet with an attorney and go over your situation. There are serveral options before filing a BK. Feel free to call me if you want to come in - I charge $40 for a 1/2 meeting. You may find a BK attorney who will meet with you for free but talk to some one.
