Technically you could sell at anytime. Depending on the type of bankruptcy - you would either be "forced" to sell (depending on the equity in the property and the debts outstanding), either by short sale or foreclosure
However, there may be some other considerations if you want to actually hold onto some or all of the money the sale procures.
If you are in a Chapter 13 plan, you can sell the property anytime, but must report the sale to the Trustee, and the trustee may confiscate proceeds in order to satisfy some of the debt.
If you were in a Chapter 7 and you are already discharged - you can sell anytime and the bankruptcy court will not have any grounds to retain any earnings.
