Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Washington

Primary residence

If I file for bankuptcy can I keep my primary residence(only residence) a manufactured home in a mobile home park. I do not own the land. Bought home in 1993 and am current on payments. Live there alone. Currently no income and overwhelming debts. Currently living on unemployment which will end in June 99. I can't rent a place for what my house payment is.

Thank you for the help.

Re: Primary residence

Exemptions are a matter of State law. I cannot advise on Wa. law because I am not a member of that State's Bar. I suggest you see a local attorney. If you tell me where you are I might be able to make a suggestion for you. Note, chances are your residence is exempt.
