Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Washington
I've been seperated from my husband over a year and we plan on getting divorced and to file for bankrupcy. We both live on our own and I have our 3 children 95% of the time. We are both in debt to our ears and our house was auctioned by the bank. My question is do we file bankrupcy first while married or go ahead and get divorce and file bankrupcy on our own? I want this over asap as I want to go back to school and with his income I dont qualify for much finacial aid as they count his income.

There are several reasons you might want to consider filing for bankruptcy first, but there are also some factors that you should be concerned about regarding the timing of the divorce and bankruptcy. This might be easier to talk about on the telphone. I will not charge you just to talk on the phone. You are welcome to call me anytime at this number. 915 261-3893
