Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Washington
Transfer of home.
My parents gave me their home 2 & 3/4 years ago. If my parents file for bankruptcy, can I lose the home to satifsy their obligations? Thank you.

It depends upon the facts. Was the transaction in anticipation of a bk? Was it to defaud creditors? You need to discuss the specific facts with an attorney. Remember, what you tell an attorney is privilaged. What you send over the e-mail to a service like this is probably note. The amount of equity they transferred will be a key factor. Good luck
