Legal Question in Business Law in Washington
New Car Contract
I went to a dealership to look at a used truck. They kept me there for almost 5 hrs. When I left I had signed a contract to buy a new truck. I would have signed anything to get out of there. I called the salesman the very next morning and told him that I didn't want it. He told me that he would get back to me. I didn't hear from him for a couple of days so I figured it was over. I got a call 3 days after that telling me that my truck was ready and that I needed to pick it up. I don't want this truck and I can't afford it. What can I do ??

Re: New Car Contract
First thing I would do is call the dealership and talk to the salesman again to see if he can straighten this out. If I did not get satisfaction in this manner, I would ask to speak to the owner or manager (depending on the size of the dealership). Hopefully this does the trick. If not, come back to this forum and repost your question, including how this was financed and if they got any of your money yet. Or, feel free to email/contact me personally.
Good luck!

Hey, I have a bit more info that may do the trick - but I didn't get your phone number when we spoke. Give me a call.
