1. Incorporation in Washington State is relatively simple. It requires a registered agent who has a physical address (not a post office box) in the state and an address that is the corporation�s �principal place of business,� which can also be the registered agent�s address. Often, the Washington corporate attorney also serves as the registered agent for the corporation.

2. In order for an attorney from another country to appear before a court in Washington State, the court must either permit such appearance for a particular case or reason, or the attorney must be admitted to practice in the state of Washington. Generally, to be admitted to practice in Washington, you must become a member of the Washington State Bar Association by taking and passing the Bar Examination offered by that Association, have no serious criminal convictions and other more minor qualifications. An out of state attorney or an attorney from anotehr country may be permitted to appear in a particular case based upon the rules of the particular court and there are city, state and federal courts in Washington, all with different requirements. Generally, if you are a member of the Washington State Bar Association, any court in the state of Washington will allow you to appear before it and represent clients.

3. The Bar Examination is given two times a year and it usually takes about four or five months for the results to be made known. The success rate for all whoi take the examination is usually about 70% to 80%.
