I would go even further than Ms. Beecher and state that there are indeed some overseas laws that when violated constitute an automatic violation of US law. For example, fishing illegally overseas constitutes a violation of US laws (the Magnuson Act to be exact). I would concur with Ms. Beecher's excellent advice beyond this, particularly her statement that you risk your "partners" telling you they were shutdown even if they were not.

The US will not enforce other countries' criminal laws in our courts here. However, neither will the US normally come to your aid if you get crosswise of another country's criminal laws. For many offenses (I'm not sure what you mean by "cam models") and depending upon whether we have an agreement with the other country, you might even be arrested here and extradited so that the overseas court can deal with you. So as a legal matter, I recommend against this investment.

As a business decision, I also recommend against it. If it is illegal where it is being done, there is a high risk that authorities could shut things down at any moment, and you will lose your investment. Another risk, particularly if you do not know the other parties involved well, is that once your capital is in, you could be TOLD that the authorities have shut things down and your investment is lost, even if in fact nothing was ever actually set up.
