I was the owner of a company that was closed down. Is it possible for a vendor that the company owed money to to sue me personally? It was an SCorp.

The answer depends upon whether you properly used the protection offered by corporation laws. Was the sales contract in the company name? Did you personally guarantee payment? Was your corporation in good standing with the state? Did you dissolve the corporation properly? There are many factors that can effect the answer to your question. Feel free to contact me with further information and I may be able to answer your question more thoroughly.
