Legal Question in Business Law in Washington
I am the owner operator of a food truck when I signed the lease for the truck there was a no compete clause in the underwriting it says I can't come within a mile of his stops for one year if I decide to open my own truck without leasing with him is there any way around this clause

Maybe, but it takes an understanding of information about the food truck market and other circumstances to make a determination of the strength of the non-compete clause. A good business lawyer should be consulted. Let me know if I can help.
