pay deductions in gas companies
I have a friend who works in a gas station, he had three drive offs and the company deducted him on his pay for those drive off's is that legal?

It is legal only if the following also applies:
1) They believe he was involved in the theft.
2) They file a police report against him.
3) The event occurred in his final pay period (i.e., they also fire him)
4) After the deductions, he is still paid at least minimum wage.
Otherwise, it is not legal.
