Legal Question in Business Law in Washington
I work for a Washington Licensed Home Care Agency who several months ago rented our office to another client leaving the employees without bathroom facilities, break and lunch areas etc., can they do this? Also we are now being told we will have to have our breaks and lunches in our cars and the weather has been freezing! Is there anything we the employees can do regarding this situation?

As a franchise attorney I recommend you contact your state's employment development or labor law department. This agency is responsible for ensuring compliance with labor law standards. They will investigate the matter and take appropriate action. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
