Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington

Disclosing personal information

As a courtesy, I informed my present employer that I was contacted by another company and asked for an interview. She, in turn, contacted the human resource director of this other company to inform her that I was working for her without my knowledge or consent. Is this illegal?

Re: Disclosing personal information

I don't understand what you're saying. How could you be working for your present employer without knowledge or consent?

Please explain, either on this board or privately to me.
