disclosing text messaging transcripts
is it legal to disclose a transcript of text messages between myself and another person without their consent?

If the other person has disclosed come confidencial information to you, which under duty your bound to keep it confidential, then you cannot diclose to any other person.

You have not provided enough information for your question to be answered. It depends on a lot of other circumstances. For example, to whom do you wish to disclose it? Has the text message been requested in a discovery request or subject to a subpoena? Etc etc.
