Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington

dog murdered buy police

I live on the river ,which is public property, between Puyallup & Sumner with my dog (a Dalmation), which is licensed. We have never bothered no one.He was well taken care of. He ate before me. The Sumner cops came and took my dog & cutup my tent & scattered my belongings everywhere for no reason. Now I found out today that they murdered my dog. How can they do that? Don't I have any rights? What Can I do so they will not do this to someone else? Please someone help?

Re: dog murdered buy police

Speak with the Public Defender, the Legal Aid Society or check with your local Bar Association for a trial lawyer who handles damages cases. Consult with him/her, as initial consultations/case evaluations are usually done at no cost. Ask first.

We're sorry about your dog - best of luck to you.
