Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington
embezzelment
Our daughter has taken money from her company ($20,000) & has been rightfully fired.
She is trying to pay back $8500 right now but is being told that if she doesn't have the total amount by tomorrow (5/17) she will go to jail.
She has no prior covictions- what should she do?

Re: embezzelment
This is a criminal law question, and a criminal law attorney could probably give you more specific information.
Any payments made could make a prosecutor or a jury more lenient.
