Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington

Harassment by Child Protective Services

Child Protective Services is breathing down my neck hard after receiving a referral from the Prosecuting Attorney's office after I recanted a statement concerning the actual facts of what happened in a alleged domestic violence case. Is it legal for them to do this? Can they require me to do anything if the case has not been proven?

Re: Harassment by Child Protective Services

Making a false statement to an investigative agency is a crime (prosecuting attorney, police department, CPS, etc). The rest of your statement does not make much sense: what has not been proven? what kind of case is it? what does breathing down your neck hard mean? what are they requiring you to do?
