Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington

rights

My husband was suspended after taking a requested lie dtector test that came back inconclusive. He was polygraphed for 1 hr. 45 minutes straight. He was then interrogated by the testee. He has since been reinstated but was told that they were going to dock him for 32 hours pay for lack of internal controls and that his polygraph results were still being looked into. He is a salary employee, can he be suspended without pay? Where was due process does he have a case?

Re: rights

You have not provided enough information. What kind of employer does he have? (EG, private? govt?). What line of work is he in? Why was he being questioned?

Polygraph results are not allowed into court because they're not reliable enough. Therefore, employment decisions should not be made on them.
