I think you may be in the wrong category, unless it was a government entity that injured you. You should probably put this in the Personal Injury Law and Tort Law category not Civil Rights. Civil rights generally involves government or an entity acting with the authority of government, or somebody preventing a person from exercising certain rights on the basis of who they are (race, religion, ethnicity, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation and marital or family status. Putting your case in the correct category and writing a quality question will improve the prospects of getting a quality answer.
